Deutsche Bank in Belgium won’t fund biomass power plants without long-term contracts
In Belgium, Deutsche Bank has said it won’t fund biomass power plants unless they have long-term offtake contracts locked in. When analyzing projects, banks will look at feedstock supply, storage and logistics, conversion to energy, construction risks and energy sales contracts. Before moving forward, they want to see at least four of them adequately covered.
