Eucalyptus tree planting in UK begins

In the UK, Humberland biomass pellet producer Silvigen has begun planting eucalyptus trees on brownfield sites such as old coal tips and industrial sites around the country to secure its biomass supply but also to create the only integrated biomass business in the UK.
The eucalyptus planting program is undertaken in conjunction with the UK’s Forestry Commission.
